The Goosewing ranch combines the lifestyle of ranching in the wilderness with modern refinements. This is an opportunity to experience a corner of North America’s wildest country as it has been for over a hundred years. At an elevation of 7400ft, the ranch is an isolated retreat deep in the heart of the Gros Ventre River Valley and is host to elk, moose, bear and eagles not to mention spectacular scenery. Riding at the Goosewing is organized for the week with trail rides and fast rides through some of the most breathtaking countryside. Horses are matched to each rider’s ability. There is time set aside for fishing, hiking, relaxing in the ranch’s hot tub and pool or taking a side trip into Jackson Hole for sightseeing and shopping. The accommodation is set in private, comfortable cabins all having their own private facilities. The main lodge serves as a central gathering place for dining and relaxing.
